Freeman / Lake – “Threading Needles While in Mid-Air” Cdr

Solemn chords and tones drift in on the tide as scattered thumps and cymbal shine through clouds. This is Freeman/Lake, the guitar/drums duo comprised of Martin Freeman (guitar) and Tom Lake (drums). It’s hard to pin down what exactly is happening when these two play together, beautiful chords and notes seem to hang in the air as a careful and playful rhythmic dance encircles them. The two players seem drawn toward the same light, while in parallel tunnels. Constantly keeping the other in the corner of their eye as they shamble and shine forward.

The album comes wrapped in a poly sleeve, and earthy paper and is protected by a ghostly octopus print. There is a limited amount of these suckers (under 50 made), so get one whilst you can!
